Colin and Wendy Lewis, made a massive contribution to the optometric industry, during a career spanning thirty-six years. They brought us Silhouette, Adidas, Levis, CK and Diesel to mention a few. On the instrument front, it was Topcon and Briot. In recent times, they added Acuvue contact lenses to the stable.

They have now retired from Moscon Optics, which they built up into a huge business from humble beginnings. They plan to settle in Cape Town. Both are in good health and they are looking forward to indulging in their passions outside the world of optics. Colin and Wendy have been tremendous supporters, of Vision Magazine, over many years. On behalf of Shannon de Klerk and the Vision Editorial Board, we would like to thank them for that. The optometric community owes them a debt of gratitude for their contribution to the industry.
