Pictech Vision is a small business with a different approach to the market. Founded in 2013 we have shown steady expansion in the optical market by selling well priced high quality frames under the DE PANTHER, LA COLLECTION, LA KIDS, SMART, ULTEM8 and now the Xavier Garcia ranges. We pride ourselves on being a service orientated organisation and being a value added service to optometrists. We have a dedicated team ready to serve.
TEAM:
Our sales team is headed by Zoë Parker, Stretch Schoombee and Stan Miller, who will take you through our ranges at your convenience. Jagoda handles dispatch and stock concerns. Chante keeps an eye on accounts and account opening. Stretch is responsible for Eastern Cape and Namibia. They are all supported by Ian Parker who has twenty-five years’ experience of importing and distribution of various products and brands in South Africa.

An import specialist for over 20 years dealing in wholesale items. In 2013 Pictech Vision was launched. We have had a very successful 5 years. A good sound knowledge of imports and distribution is the basis for having a strong company. A keen golfer, motorcyclist and music fundi keep me going outside the office.
Zoë Parker
Junior Sales Representative
Junior Sales Representative specialising in Mpumalanga and Gauteng areas. Started in optics as a Front Liner between 2015 - 2018. Joined the Pictech Vision team in February 2018. Bringing a fresh young look into social media aspects of the company, as well as representing the different ranges such as LA collection, De Panther, Ultem8 De Panther and Smart Collection.
Stan Miller
Sales Representative
Joined the South African air force, then continued flying as a private pilot. He worked as an aerial manger before joining the optical industry in 1984. Stan together with Angelo Corti and Stretch Schoombee launched their own optical company “Allied Optical” which closed after twenty-one years. He studied for a B.A Honours degree at UNISA majoring in English and Communication. He is also the author of three novels. He has been with Pictech Vision for two and a half years as a sales representative and specialises in North West, KZN, Gauteng and a part of Mpumalanga.
Stretch Scoombee
After completing his conscription with the SANDF and graduating from University Stretch’s first introduction to optometry was in 1970 as a sales agent for Standard Optical. In 1978 he was transferred to Cape Town to open a branch there and became the area manager. In 1980 he joined Vista optical and remained in Cape Town for the first few years as the sole representative of Safilo in the Cape area. product manager of Menrad and continued as the main representative of Menrad in the field. 1988 Stretch was transferred to Cape Town once again to manage the newly opened branch of Standard Vista Optical. In 1992 Stretch and two partners formed Allied Optical. In 2016 he joined Pictech Vision when Allied Optical was dissolved. He has been in the industry uninterrupted for 48 years this October.
